Retainer fee, cancellation and rescheduling policy
The Retainer (Booking Fee)
Retainer: A non-refundable retainer fee equal to 50% of the total session package amount is due immediately upon booking. Your session will not be reserved for the specified date and time on the calendar until both the contract is signed and the 50% retainer payment has cleared. Remaining Balance: The remaining 50% balance of the invoice is due no later than 48 hours before the scheduled session date.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
I know life happens—kids get sick, weather gets wild, and schedules change! Because I reserve my calendar exclusively for your session, here is how we handle changes while keeping things fair and stress-free for everyone:
Weather & Acts of God (The "Mother Nature" Rule)
Free Rescheduling:
If the weather turns completely messy (pouring rain, dangerous winds, or extreme storms), don't sweat it! We will reschedule your session for my next available opening at absolutely no extra cost. Safety First: Your safety and gorgeous photo lighting are my top priorities. I will keep a close eye on the forecast and reach out on the morning of our session if we need to make a judgment call!
Client Rescheduling (Moving Your Date)
More Than 48 Hours Notice: If you need to move your session due to sickness or a calendar conflict, just let me know at least 48 hours in advance! We will happily transfer your $100 retainer deposit over to a new agreed-upon date.
Less Than 48 Hours Notice: Life emergencies happen! If you must reschedule at the absolute last minute (under 48 hours), your deposit can still be moved to a new date, but a $25 rescheduling fee may apply to cover the empty slot.
Cancellations (Canceling Completely)The Retainer: If you choose to cancel your session completely and do not wish to reschedule, the $100 retainer deposit is non-refundable. This covers the time spent planning your session and the booking spot held exclusively for you.
No-Shows:
If a client does not show up to the session location without any prior notice, the deposit is forfeited, and the session cannot be rescheduled without booking a brand-new slot.
Pricing Transparency
All package prices listed are fully inclusive of standard credit card and ACH bank transfer processing fees—the price you see is the price you pay for your session. Please note that applicable state and local sales taxes are not included in the base rates and will be calculated and added automatically at checkout.
